Colgworld, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), doing business as Grid Garage, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
It covers the Grid Garage website and the Grid Garage mobile apps for iOS and Android (together, the "Service").
Your name, email address, username, profile picture, bio, and any social links you choose to add. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and basic profile information from that provider. We never receive or store your password for those accounts.
The cards you catalogue, their grades, certification numbers, purchase prices, notes, wishlists, collections, and any images you upload.
Screens visited, features used, app and browser version, device type and operating system, crash reports, performance metrics, IP address, and approximate location derived from your IP address (country and region — not precise location).
The Service is supported by advertising. Ad networks receive device and advertising identifiers, IP address, and general information about the content being viewed, in order to select and measure ads. See Section 4.
If you subscribe or buy through the Marketplace, payment is processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, and a subscription status.
We share data with the providers below, each only to the extent needed to do their job. This list is current as of the "Last updated" date.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
However, some advertising and analytics partners listed above receive identifiers that allow them to build a profile of your interests across different sites and apps. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) and some other state laws, this may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out — see Section 8.
We also disclose data where required by law or valid legal process, and in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, under equivalent privacy terms.
Grid Garage is free and supported by advertising.
In the apps. We use Google AdMob. On iOS, before any tracking identifier is used for personalised advertising, the system asks your permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On the website. We use Google AdSense.
In the EEA and UK. We present Google's consent management platform before serving personalised advertising, and your choice is recorded and honoured.
Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Removing ads. Where an ad-free subscription is offered, subscribing removes advertising from the apps. It does not change what other providers in Section 3 collect.
Google's own handling of advertising data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where Grid Garage offers a paid subscription, it is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play in the apps, and through Stripe on the website. Those companies process the payment; we do not see your card details.
We use RevenueCat to record which subscription you hold and whether it is active, so that your subscription works across your devices and on both the website and the apps. RevenueCat receives an identifier for your account and your purchase and subscription status. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
On the website we use:
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
You can delete your account from Settings in the app, or by emailing us. When you do, your personal and collection data are permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction.
Everyone. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email privacy@gridgarage.app and we will respond within 30 days.
Marketing email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional email such as receipts and password resets.
Push notifications. Turn these off in your device settings or in the app's notification settings.
Advertising. See Section 4 for the per-platform controls.
EEA and UK (GDPR). Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (providing the Service), consent (advertising and marketing where required), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and product improvement), and legal obligation. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what is collected, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sharing described in Section 3. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To opt out or make a request, email privacy@gridgarage.app with the subject "Privacy Request".
Other US states. Residents of states with comparable privacy laws have similar rights, exercisable through the same address.
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, and encrypted at rest by our cloud provider. Access to production data is restricted. We maintain an incident response plan and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email privacy@gridgarage.app and we will delete it.
We are based in the United States, and your data is processed there. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and where the law requires it we will notify you directly.
